Bottle Shard Wash Loop

This loop provides closeup views of Golden Gate Mountain combined with a lovely walk through a wash that is littered with glass fragments that glisten on a sunny day. The route can be accessed via Kinney road (5 mi loop) or Gates Pass road (5 or 2.5 miles). If you take the Prickly Pear shortcut, you avoid 2.5 miles of mostly open desert walking.
