This solitary hike (6.5 miles – 1380 ft gain) is mostly backcountry and provides great views. Must have good route finding and scrambling skills. You will frequently encounter loose rock on steepish trails. Poles are a must. Once you have reached the saddle on the back side of Bren, continue east along Ringtail Ridge. Eventually the trails will converge. At the high-point on the ridge is a summit register. I recommend you continue on past the register as the great views continue.
