Brown Mountain is an easy ridge walk with extended views of the surrounding countryside.u00a0 Clockwise is the recommended direction with you going up and down several knobs on the ridge.u00a0 There is less elevation gain if you do it as a loop (same distance), but you double your long views if you do it as an out and back.
