Steps to show media from laptop

  1. Get keys for media cabinet from kitchen
  2. Get TV remote from upper cabinet, turn on TV
  3. Get long black HDMI cable from top drawer and insert into HDMI slot 3 on TV (push hard)
  4. Connect cable to computer HDMI cable and plug into computer
  5.  Turn on computer and sign-in (use guest account if not owner)
  6. Check to see if mirror display is enabled (settings –> devices –> display –> mirror display)
  7. Push “input” on TV remote until HDMI 3 is shown
  8. Use browser to get to YouTube, etc. Note if you have a PowerPoint, Microsoft Office online has free PowerPoint
  9. When finished shutdown the computer. Hold down power button and then select shutdown

Push Power Off and select Shut Down
Hit circle and select settings
Select Devices & then Display
Make sure Mirror Display is Turned On (HDMI cable must be attached to TV)

Mirror Display needs to be on. If TV does not show computer screen when laptop open, go through pics to make sure mirror display is on.
